By using luniore.com, you agree to our use of this technology. To learn more about cookies and how to manage them, see our data privacy policy.
Definitions

Processing of personal data: Any operation, or set of operations, relating to such data, whatever the process used (collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation, modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission, diffusion or any other form of making available, reconciliation or interconnection, locking, erasure or destruction, etc.).
Cookie: A cookie is a small computer file, a tracer, deposited and read for example when consulting a website, reading an email, installing or using software or a mobile application, regardless of the type of terminal used (computer, smartphone, digital reader, video game console connected to the Internet, etc.).
Our Privacy Policy
In this data protection charter, we inform you about the processing of your personal data when using our website.
Personal data is information based on an identified person. This data includes, in particular, indications which allow your identity to be deduced, for example your name, telephone number, postal or electronic address.
Statistical data that we collect, for example, when you visit our website and which cannot be associated with you personally, do not count as personal data.
You can print or save (e.g. as a PDF file) this personal data protection charter using the usual functionality of your browser.
What data is collected?
Each time you use our website, we collect data that your browser automatically transmits to enable you to visit our website. This includes:
* From the IP address of the consulting device,
* The date and time of the consultation,
* From the address of the website consulted and consulted
* As well as technical information regarding the browser used and the operating system of the end device.
The data processing is necessary to enable you to visit the website and to ensure the long-term security of our systems. The data mentioned are saved for the purpose described above as well as temporarily in internal log files in order to create statistics on the use of our website and to develop it in line with the usage habits of our visitors (e.g. when visits increasingly take place from mobile devices) as well as for the general administration of our website. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) f DSGVO.
The information recorded in the log files does not allow us to draw any immediate conclusions about you. In particular, we save IP addresses only in their abbreviated form. The log files are saved for 30 days and then deleted.
What are the different types of cookies used?
* Session cookies (as described above)
* Persistent cookies. Persistent cookies allow websites to remember your preferences for each new visit. For example, if you choose to read content in French on your first visit, the site will automatically be in French on your next visit. Not having to indicate your language preferences each time you visit makes your navigation more convenient, more efficient and more intuitive.
* Advertising cookies. These cookies can be used to learn about your interests based on, for example, the websites you visit or the products you buy. They can also help us learn about your age, marital status or the number of children you have. This data allows us to send you advertisements for products or services that are tailored to your tastes or needs. They also allow us to limit the number of times these advertisements are suggested to you.
* Analytics cookies. These cookies inform us about how our sites are performing. We mostly use Google Analytics cookies to study the performance of our sites. Our ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our sites is governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.
What other technologies are used?
Pixels. Also known as “tags,” “web bugs,” or “pixel gifs,” pixels are small, invisible objects embedded in a web page. We use pixels to deliver cookies to your computer, monitor activity on our sites, facilitate login to our sites, and manage our online marketing activities. Our promotional emails and newsletters also include pixels that tell us whether the message has been opened and your interactions.
What is the point of cookies for a subscription plan?
You have the option to register for our online shop in order to be able to use all the functions of our website and to purchase our products. You acknowledge the mandatory data that you provide during your registration or the order process in the input fields (first and last name, email address and password, payment information as well as billing and shipping address). Registration is not possible without this data because it is essential for the execution of the contract. This is why we use cookies. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Are cookies used during checkout?
For orders in our online shop, we offer you payment by credit card. In doing so, we work with payment service providers from whom we obtain your payment information or to whom we pass it on. Without this payment information and payment service providers, the execution of payments and contracts would be impossible. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Our subcontractors to whom your personal data may be transmitted, if necessary, are: – PAYPAL company online banking and payment services – STRIPE company online banking and payment services – MOLLIE company online banking and payment services
Throughout your stay on the site, we use session cookies to remember your products when you visit our site: Internet pages have no memory. Session cookies remember you (using a random identifier such as ABC12345) as you navigate from page to page so that you do not have to provide information already provided on the site. Session cookies are for example very useful when you add products to your basket: without them, the products in your basket would disappear by the time you reach the payment stage. These cookies are deleted as soon as you leave our site or close your browser.
To learn more about Paypal, we recommend that you consult the Paypal Terms of Use.
To learn more about Stripe, we recommend that you review Stripe's Terms of Service
To learn more about Mollie, we recommend that you consult the Mollie Terms of Use
How are contact or customer service data used?
You have various options to contact us (e.g. by e-mail, chat). In this context, we use your contact details exclusively to communicate with you. Without this information, we cannot communicate with you. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Who else but luniore can have access to your data?
We use third-party vendors. They will collect, use and disclose your information only to the extent necessary to properly operate the services these vendors enable us to operate.
Please note that some of our suppliers have their own privacy policies (e.g. payment gateways). We invite you to consult their terms of use if you have additional questions.
Who are the third parties you work with?
Apart from payment service providers, we mainly work with subcontractors:
* Shopify Inc. - Privacy Policy - Terms of Service
* Google - Privacy Policy - Terms of Service
* Meta - Privacy Policy - Terms of Use
* Pinterest - Privacy Policy - Terms of Use
* Logistics
* Transport
We use third-party applications very limitedly and we pay particular attention to ensuring that elements not essential to order processing are never disclosed.
Shopify Inc.
The luniore website is hosted on Shopify Inc. This platform allows us to sell our products and services online. Your personal data is therefore stored in Shopify's databases as well as on the Shopify application. This server is secure and protected by a firewall.
My personal data for payment on Shopify
When you purchase products on our luniore site using a direct payment gateway, Shopify stores your credit card information. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction information is retained throughout your order until it is complete. Once your order is complete, your transaction information is deleted.
What is PCI-DSS?
This is a standard that protects all direct payment gateways. It is managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is an umbrella organization of payment brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS helps ensure the secure handling of credit card information used by our store and other service providers.
To learn more about Shopify, we recommend reviewing Shopify's Terms of Service.
How does Google use information collected through sites or applications that use their services?
Like many website and app owners, we use Google services to improve our content. Because we integrate with their services, we share information with them.
How does it work?
For example, when you visit a website that uses advertising services such as AdSense (including analytics tools like Google Analytics) or embeds video content from YouTube, your web browser automatically transmits certain information to Google. This includes, for example, the URL of the page you are visiting and your IP address. Google may also place cookies on your browser or read existing cookies. Apps that use our advertising services also share information with us, such as the app name and a unique advertising identifier.
Information shared across sites and apps helps Google provide, manage, and improve our services, develop new services, measure advertising effectiveness, protect against fraud and abuse, and personalize the content and ads that appear on Google and our partners' sites and apps. To learn how Google handles data in these different situations, see their Privacy Policy. Visit the Advertising page to learn more about Google ads, how your information is used for advertising, and how long Google keeps it.
Google's Privacy Policy sets out the legal bases on which Google relies to process your information. For example, Google may process your information with your consent or for legitimate interests (typically, to provide, maintain, and improve our services to meet our users' needs).
Because our website provides information about you to Google, we ask for your prior consent before allowing Google to process it. For example, a banner may be displayed on our site asking you to allow Google to process information collected by this site. In this case, Google will comply with the purposes described in the consent you have given to our site rather than the legal bases described in its Privacy Policy. If you wish to change or revoke your consent, please visit the Personal Data page of our site.
Ad Personalization
When ads personalization is turned on, Google uses your information to show you more useful ads. For example, a website that sells hairbrushes may use Google's advertising services. So if you visit our site and then go to another site that displays ads served by Google, you may see an ad for hairbrushes.
When ads personalization is turned off, Google doesn’t collect or use any of your information to create an advertising profile or personalize the ads that Google shows you. You’ll still see ads, but they probably won’t be as useful. They might still be based on the topic of the website or app you’re searching for, the search terms you’ve used, or your location. They won’t take into account your interests, search history, or browsing history. Your information may be used in the other situations mentioned above, including to measure advertising effectiveness and to protect against fraudulent activity and abuse.
When you interact with our website that uses Google services, you may be asked whether you want to receive personalized ads from different advertisers, including Google. Regardless of your choice, Google will not personalize the ads you see if your ads personalization setting is turned off or your account is not eligible for this type of ad.
Control the information collected by Google on our site
Here are some of the ways you can control the information your device sends when you visit or interact with sites and apps that use Google services:
* Ads Settings lets you control the ads you see on Google services (like Google Search and YouTube) or on non-Google websites and apps that use Google advertising services. Learn more about ads personalization, and how to turn off ads and block certain advertisers here.
* If you're signed in to your Google Account and depending on your Google Account settings, the My Activity page lets you review and control the data created when you use Google services, including information we collect through the sites or apps you've used. You can browse this page by date and topic, and delete some or all of your activity.
* Many website and app owners use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with their sites or apps. If you do not want your browser to use Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Learn more about Google Analytics and Privacy
* Google Chrome's Incognito mode lets you browse the internet without saving web pages or files to your browser or account history (unless you choose to sign in). Cookies are deleted when you close windows and tabs opened in this mode. Your bookmarks and settings are saved until you delete them. Learn more about cookies
* Many browsers, including Chrome, allow you to block third-party cookies. You also have the option to delete existing cookies from your browser. Learn more about managing cookies in Google Chrome

Google Analytics, an analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze and improve our website based on your user behavior. The information collected in this context may be transmitted to a server of the company in the USA and stored there. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. However, your IP address is abbreviated by Google Analytics before processing, so that your identity cannot be derived. For this purpose, Google Analytics has been supplemented with the code "anonymizeIP" on our website to ensure anonymized recording of IP addresses. Google processes the information collected by Google Analytics through cookies to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide other services related to website and internet usage. Google AdWords Conversion-Tracking cookies normally remain active on your computer for approximately 30 days. If you visit our website during this period, Google and we will be informed that you have seen the display made available.
Google AdWords-Conversion-Tracking
Google Remarketing. These Google services (Google AdWords Conversion-Tracking and Google Remarketing) also use cookies and similar technologies to measure the performance of the advertisements displayed (so-called AdWords campaigns) and to display individualized advertising messages on websites that collaborate with Google.
To learn more about Google's services, we recommend that you consult the Google Terms of Service.
Youtube
It may happen that our site contains third-party content, for example videos from YouTube. This always implies that the providers of this content know your IP address. After all, without an IP address, you would not be able to send the content to your browser. The IP address is essential for the representation of the latter. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) f DSGVO.
We endeavour to only use content whose providers ensure that they use your IP address exclusively for the distribution of the content. However, we have no influence whether third-party providers record the IP address, for example, for statistical purposes.
We have integrated videos recorded on YouTube into our website and these can be viewed directly from our website. YouTube is a media service of YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA ("YouTube"), a company of the Google LLC group, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google and YouTube are subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, based on our legitimate interest in the integration of videos and images.
When you visit our website, YouTube and Google receive the information that you have visited the corresponding subpage on our website. This happens regardless of whether you are logged in to YouTube or Google. YouTube and Google use this data for advertising purposes, market research and to adapt the design of the websites if necessary. If you visit YouTube from our website while logged in to your YouTube or Google account, these sites can associate this event with the corresponding profiles. If you wish to prevent this association of information, you must log out of your Google account before visiting our website.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or you can prevent Google from collecting the information generated by the cookie and relating to your use of this website as well as the processing of this data by deactivating the "Personalized advertising" function in Google's advertising settings. In this case, Google will only display non-personalized advertising.
You can find more information in Google's Privacy Policy, which also applies to YouTube.
Meta
Meta uses the information they collect to provide you with a personalized experience, including ads, and the other purposes we explain in detail below. For some of these purposes, they use information about their products and your device. The information they use for these purposes is automatically processed by their systems. But in some cases, they also use manual review to access and review your information. To use less information tied to individual users, in some cases they de-identify or aggregate the information. They may also anonymize it so that it no longer identifies you. They use this information in the same way that they use your information as described in this section. Here's how they use your information:
Provide, customize and improve their products
Meta uses the information they have to provide and improve their products. This includes personalizing features, content, and, like your Facebook Feed, Instagram Feed, Stories, and ads. They use the information with special protections that you choose to provide for these purposes, but not to show you ads.
Ad Personalization
When ads personalization is enabled, Meta uses your information to serve you more useful ads. For example, a website that sells hairbrushes may use Meta's advertising services. So if you visit our site and then go to another site that displays ads served by Meta, you may see an ad for hairbrushes.
When ads personalization is turned off, Meta does not collect or use any of your information to create an advertising profile or to personalize the ads that Meta shows you. You will still see ads, but they may not be as useful. They may still be based on the topic of the website or app you are searching for, the search terms you have used, or your geographic location. However, they will not take into account your interests, search history, or browsing history. Your information may be used in the other situations mentioned above, including to measure advertising effectiveness and to protect against fraudulent activity and abuse.
When you interact with our website that uses Meta's services, you may be asked whether you want to receive personalized ads delivered by different advertisers, including Meta. Regardless of your choice, Meta will not personalize the ads you see if your ad personalization setting is turned off or your account is not eligible for this type of ad.
The Facebook pixel of the company Meta, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA (“Facebook”).
If you visit our website, these tags will establish a connection between your browser and a Facebook server. Through this, Facebook is informed that our website was accessed with your IP address. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Facebook has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. Facebook uses this information to provide statistical and anonymous data on the general use of our website as well as the effectiveness of our Facebook advertising ("Facebook-Ads"). If you are a member of Facebook and have authorized this via the privacy settings of your account, Facebook can associate the information collected during your visit to our website with your Facebook account and use it for the targeted activation of Facebook Ads. You can view and change the privacy settings of your Facebook profile at any time. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can stop the data processing by Facebook by confirming the deactivation for the provider "Facebook" on the aforementioned TRUSTe website. This prevents the collection of Facebook Pixel within this site (the Opt-Out only works in the browser and only for this domain). You can find more information on this in Facebook's Data Usage Policy.
Because our website provides Meta with information about you, we ask for your consent before allowing Meta to process it. For example, a banner may appear on our site asking you to allow Pinterest to process information collected by this site. In this case, Pinterest will comply with the purposes described in the consent you provided to our site rather than the legal bases described in its Privacy Policy. If you wish to change or revoke your consent, please visit the Personal Data page on our site.

Does luniore transmit data to other agents?
The data we collect will only be transmitted if this is necessary for the performance of the contract or the provision of the technical functions of the website or the online shop, or if an external legal basis applies for the transmission of the data (e.g. if we are under a legal obligation to disclose data (information to judicial authorities and courts, to public authorities that obtain the information due to legal provisions, e.g. social security institutions, tax authorities, etc.) or if we have to use third parties bound by professional secrecy to assert our claims).
Some of the data processing is carried out by service providers. These include, among other things, computer centres that back up our website and databases, IT service providers that maintain our system, logistics and shipping service providers and consulting companies. When we pass on information to service providers, they may use it exclusively for the performance of their duties. We have selected and engaged the service providers with the greatest care. They are contractually bound to our guidelines, bound by professional secrecy and we inspect them regularly.
How long does luniore keep your data?
In principle, we save personal information only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the contractual or legal obligations for which we collected it. We then delete the information immediately, unless we still need it until the expiry of the statutory limitation period for the purposes of supporting civil law claims or due to statutory archiving obligations.
For example, we must retain contractual information for three years from the end of the year in which our business relationship with you ended for evidentiary purposes. This is because any claims are time-barred after the statutory limitation period at the earliest from that point on.
We must still retain some of your data after the limitation period. We are obliged to do so due to legal documentation obligations that may arise from the Commercial Code, the Tax Act, the Banking Act, the Money Laundering Act and the Securities Trading Act. The current document archiving periods range from two to ten years.
What are your rights?
You have the right to inquire about the processing of your personal data from us at any time. In this context, we will explain the data processing to you and provide you with an overview of the data stored about you.
If the data stored with us is incorrect or no longer up to date, you have the right to have it rectified.
You can also demand the deletion of your data. If due to other legal regulations, deletion should exceptionally be impossible, the data will be blocked in such a way that it will only be available for legal purposes.
You can also request to limit the processing of your personal data if, for example, you contest the accuracy of the data.
You also have the right to data portability, which means that we can send you a digital copy of the personal information you have made available to us upon your request.
Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your data, the legal basis for which is stated in Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, if a particular personal situation justifies this or if the objection is directed against direct mail. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection also applicable without having to give reasons. Furthermore, you have the right to revoke the consent you have given us at any time. This has the consequence that we will not continue the data processing based on this permission in the future. The revocation of your consent does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out on the basis of your consent before the revocation.
If you would like to: access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we have about you, please visit the My Personal Information page.
What measures are in place for the security of your data?
We apply current technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data against dangers during data transfer and against knowledge by third parties. These measures are adapted according to the current state of the art. To protect the personal information you provide on the website, we use the Standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which encrypts the information you enter.
In case of data theft
If, despite all the protections implemented by EP PUBLISHING and its subcontractors, some of your personal data were stolen, compromised or deleted, EP PUBLISHING undertakes to inform you within the legal time limits and in accordance with the legal requirements in force. This legal information obligation cannot be interpreted as an acknowledgement of liability or negligence on the part of EP PUBLISHING or its subcontractors.
Is this charter modified?
We occasionally update this data protection charter, for example when we adapt our website or in the event of changes in data laws.
